Can you please tell me how to install WinDeckOS and SteamOS in dualboot mode? Found only posts with the same question in youtube and reddit, but no answers found

Thank you! But The problem is that windeck and steam os are both installed in such a way that they overwrite the remaining partitions. Therefore, the problem lies in installing two systems simultaneously on the steamdeck SSD, and not in the loading screen for selecting a system.

iirc, you could shrink the steamOS partition and make a new one, then install windows to that. Don't quote me on that though.

I had windows installed but wanted to be able to flash firmware and calibrate thumb sticks, instead of reinstalling steamos then windows, just install bazzite os and resize the NTFS partition to free 32gb which can be done right inside the bazzite installer. Bonus is bazzite can read the NTFS SD card so you can play any game from either OS. And it will always boot into windows, you have to use volume down and power to switch to bazzite.

put WinDeckOS on an SD card and SteamOS on the ssd or vice versa

Anyone figure out how to dualboot with both steamOS and WindeckOS using clover? For some reason even though its set as default I keep booting to windows instead of clover bootloader. Both are installed as partitions on the internal drive. Screenshot_20240719_081713
