The team met with Monnit and Particle. Going with Monnit for a pilot program at Melrose.

Melrose Pilot:

• Sensor Setup, Configuration (What sensors, where do they go, total quantity?)
• Data Collection (Data Streaming to Monnit and API Connection to MS GCP)
• Visualization (Monnit UI and Site Map) (Set up environmental Site Map, other features)
• Alerting Testing (Set up sample alerts and test alerting functionality - app, email, OpsGenie?)
• Troubleshooting, Maintenance
• Review

To Do:

1. Determine where and how many sensors will be placed.
2. Place order for sensors and create container diagrams for sensor placement.
3. Align with Monnit on how to place and initialize sensors.
4. Determine placement id schema
5. Place and initialize sensors
6. Begin receiving data into Monnit
7. Create a sitemap or other monitoring tools
8. Create alerting for some sample conditions
9. Pipe data from Monnit to GCP or integrate Monnit API.
10. Review implementation with the team.

@Josh-The-Miner We will need to set up a technical meeting with Monnit to better understand what our sensor density should be. We can probably cover this in our next meeting after letting them know about a pilot. Do you want to set that up or should I?
