Thank you for noticing those errors on our compare boards page - this has been corrected.
The way to differentiate between the limited production run of Turbot boards that utilized the Realtek part, and the currently available boards with the Intel i210 or i211
[] | Turbot w/RealTek | Turbot w/ i211 | Turbot w/ i210 |
---|---|---|---|
Cores | Dual | Dual | Quad |
Silk screen | Turbot | Turbot B | Turbot B |
Ethernet | RealtTek 8111 (on bottom) | Intel i211 (top) | Intel i210 (top) |
There was a production run that had silkscreen that said Turbot 2 instead of Turbot B. And my information is that only dual core boards were ever made with the Realtek part.

E3845 has a 667 MHz DRAM clock, while E3826 has 533 MHz clock.
Thus the memory data should be 1333 MT/s for E3845 boards. As the DRAM timings for the 1067 MT/s settings are way to short for the 1333 MT/s , the firmware will hang if programmed with E3826 DRAM timings.
Also, the previous TurboT boards used a Realtek 8111 ethernet controller as the Max boards. The new TurboT Quad boards uses an Intel i211 ethernet controller. It looks like this is true for the new TurboT E3826 boards too.
It would be good to know what kind of boards you have in the lab for development purposes. The revision numbers of TurboT boards with i211 controllers should be different from the ones with RT8111 controllers.
