Everything works perfectly! except i have trouble aiming since i have to drag
the cursor in order to move around. It doesn't act like a mouse on a computer
the mouse seems to act like a touch screen function.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Bump! please any suggestions on how to make the crosshair work like a PC mouse?

Ditto on the Acer A500, this runs quite well, however the behavior of the
cursor is touch screen to move, and with Honeycomb 3.1 with full mouse and
keyboard support, it would be amazing to have a mode for the cursor where it
just uses the mouse - aka no touch or click to look. used to accomplish this
in Quake 1 with binding mouse look to a key and putting a coffee cup on that
key.

Are you people by any chance looking for the "FREE LOOK" options in the Q3
controls panel?

yes, but it doesnt acheive what we want which is for the mouse to the look
device without having to 'touch' the screen (i.e. we are having to mouse over
the cross hair, and click/drag it around to aim which isnt so great) mouse
look may 'work' but does not override the touch to aim cross hair.

Bump! Any news on this issue (it's not really an issue, all android fps games
behave like this with usb/bluetooth mouse, but it would be great if you can
"fix" this)?

Try this older version, perhaps it wasn't optimized for touch screen yet?

Just tried that version. mouse still acts like a click and drag :(

Any ideas? i want to continue conversation on this since i really think this
concept as tons of potential. imagine new lan parties with mobile devices
connected to monitors with mouse and keyboard!

supported! with the android tablets getting improved every few months, games
like quake are a reality

yeap just tested with a500 and the mouse is still in desktop mode, kwaak3
doesn't use the mouse device for mouse control and instead relies on the
touchscreen as the mouse emulation. The good part is that I left it at lightmap
with full details and it ran smoothly, what a joy to see a man's game on
Android.

i feel tablets are more suited for games like quake 3 as its portable, the
hardware is getting faster, battery last longer and screen sizes are decent
enough that we only need a keyboard and mouse to start gaming.

please develop this further for tablets :)

Seems that there hasn't been a new update for Kwaak3 on this since Feb 2010. I
really hope someone finds this one out. They'll create a q3 gaming tablet
movement so huge they'll be a hero forever :)

Ok so this is my cfg.(go to your quake3, delete q3 configure and put in my)
Works perfectly except that touchscreen mouse problem. I find it easy to play
with keybord and touching screen. Be sure to use first type of kwaak3, not
latest shit. Peace

The same issue. Please make mouse work like a mouse not like a touch.
Thanks
