zappa init not creating zappa_settings.json file #2179

Nothing happens when I type "zappa init" in my terminal window, however I'm not getting an error message either. The cursor just goes to a new command line. It's not creating a zappa_settings.json file. My IDE is PyCharm and as far as I can tell everything is set up correctly.

Additional details: zappa version: 0.52.0 operating system: windows 10 python version: 3.7

I ended up copying everything into a new project and it worked fine. Still not sure what caused the problem though.
