Fedora 38: Support latest gnome-shell version #77

Just need to include the latest version number for gnome-shell

$ gnome-shell --version
GNOME Shell 44.0

Also add gcc to dependencies as found in testing issue #76

Reason for dropping gcc explained here.

I wish they would bump the limit up and re-include gcc as I think linux having a usable compiler at installation is a fundamental feature.
