Spammer on highlight today #1

One of the highlights today is https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q116282558 , who does not seem to fit the notability criteria of Wikidata (and looks like a purchased item IMHO) image

I see. But I do not see an easy fix.

As much as I am aware, there are a couple of users who regularly look at the popular item list (I don't, in fact). I could offer to put the next presentable item candidates beyond the limit of 7 into a hidden HTML comment on that very page, so users could simply replace inadequate items with other suitable one.

What do you think about that plan?

Actually it sounds like a very decent plan! Thanks for putting some thought into it!

After having thought about this a little further… the problem with this solution is that the bot would likely add the problematic item back to the list during the next update. There is currently no way to blacklist a removed item.

Further input is appreciated.
