Multiple Players on 1 PC (hotseat) - Online #282

I've ran into people who want to play online with a sibling or friend on the same PC, but because all controls are linked to P1 this is impossible. (they had 2 joysticks connected)

However, some games like The Karate Tournament, are 'bugged' and allow 2 people to use both P1 & P2 controls while being in the Player1 Slot (/1).

This made me think, maybe we can have a special command to allow hotseat play. Something like /1,2 (meaning: using Player Slot 1, 2 players on the same PC). The first player uses P1 controls, 2nd player uses P2 controls.

Example 2: /2,3 Using Player Slot 2 (but with P1 controls, confusing? :P). 2nd player on same PC uses P3 controls. 3rd player on same PC uses P4 controls.

Great idea and definitely possible.

Is it implemented yet? Or any other solution to arrange hotseat games?

Not yet if it was this report would usually be close. If you had a 2nd pc or laptop you can manually change the port used for the second pc and use that. But currently there is no way for 2 users to use one pc

This isn't implemented yet but it's a high priority.
