I suggest replacing or expanding the Rating column with custom groups.
When you right click the box in addition to assigning a 1-5 star rating you can type in your own custom groups. For example a genre: shmup, fighter, brawler, platform, maze, puzzle.
A player can then sort the list to hearts content. When a game is added to 5 Stars group (or Favorites) MAMEHub will play a sound when another user starts that particular game.
