Team's Response

The feature does not calculate balance of the finance account, the statistics are meant to only tabulate the total amounts within each entry type (spend, income, borrow, lend). Debts paid or unpaid are treated the same way in the plotting of the bar chart, what matters is only their entry type (as indicated by the legend). This is the intended purpose of the plot.
