Rephrasing of a sentance in the middle of the second paragraph #5

"expecting the get out of it" does not make much sense. It is awkward and needs to changed. You may also want to avoid using "where they came from" at the end of a sentence.

I changed the first error to "expecting to escape". And for the end of the sentence, I made "where they came from" to "from where they started".
