Of course, no problem.
Added Colorblind mode in to 1.1.2b, when turned on: Mana Batteries explicitly state their power type when right clicked Other power blocks will explicitly state the power type when checked with a magitech's staff and will use white text only Occulus will use white text only and explicitly state the skill point type
Added a config to turn the HUD bars off
Mithion, I love that you do not have to implement these features... but you choose to do so. Thank you very much for helping a derpy gamer stay caught up! (I'm not disabled, I'm just a dork!)
FYI my wife is offering cookies or knitwear, which do YOU choose?
@Mithion Don't forget to add possible new entries to the localization file in case this mode includes some!
I'd have to say cookies, knitwear makes me itchy!
Vex, localization was indeed added, and will upload to GitHub shortly :)
This has been officially added in 1.1.2b.
@Mithion poke about localization update
Mithion & Team, first off I have to say I am seriously impressed with Ars Magica 2 and how it has developed over the months. I have however come across a pretty serious hurdle that is impeding my enjoyment of it.. and I fully realize that this may be a completely unique hurdle as well.
I'm colorblind. Totally.. colorblind. Black .. white.. and grey. This means that even the simplest of mod features can turn into an overwhelming obstacle instantly. One such hurdle I am running across in AM2 is just how color-oriented everything is, something which I realize may not be fully fixable. At present the Oculus is fairly useless to me in regards to determining what abilities require what color skill points. Differentiating between neutral and light energy Mana Batteries is also nearly impossible unless I stick them side by side for visual comparison.
The hud bars for mana or burnout are nearly impossible for me to discern any actual meter value from (forcing me to turn on number values.. but I .. still can't turn off the bars and JUST rely on numbers. The bars are forced ON.) Also, using the Magitech Staff to get a number reading on a Nexus (I believe the Neutral one) prints out a number in chat that is dark blue (according to my wife) and impossible for me to actually read unless I happen to be standing on a white floor.
Love the mod, absolutely do. I'm just politely asking.. what is the chance we could get a colorblind set of textures to use that could be toggled on? Anything on this front would be epic and greatly appreciated by more gamers than just myself.
Thanks, all of you.
