Magic broom is not returning items to its assigned container

Describe the bug I have put a magic broom on a container that is in the middle of my chicken coop to collect the eggs. It goes around for a little bit collecting eggs and then it stops and does not return to the container or attempt to fill the container with the eggs it gathered.

To Reproduce assign a magic broom to a container in a chicken coop.

if you are still investigating this I think it may have something to due with the chickens bumping the broom around on it's way back to the chest and it just sort of gives up before it reaches the chest.
