When playing a video, the inventory UI is rendered. Having a unique UI screen with an identifier such that FancyMenu can detect it, as well as not rednering the inventroy UI would make this properly usable in modpacks, This mod and the others related to the API are next level, and this is the last thing I personally need to make proper use of it.
