Error with special filename characters when importing pictures from folder #506

What steps will reproduce the problem?

- Go to "Add Gallery/Images"
- Click on "Import Image Folder"
- Select a folder in wich you have a file with the filename "présentation.jpg" 
(french language)
- Click on "Import folder" button
- Gallery has been created but no picture is in the gallery !

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

- Because of the "é" character, the file can't be imported in gallery

What WordPress / NextGEN Gallery version are you using? What browser are
you using?

- Wordpress 3.5
- Nextgen 1.9.10
