Feature request: Option to reassign menu buttons #5

I swapped LB and RB with steam's controller configuration, because they're "summon recruit" and "block" and I want to use LB to block.

But the pause menu is affected because it uses those buttons to go to the next/previous page, and now it's backwards. So I need to be able to change the menu buttons to fix that.

I silently added a new feature to the current 1.2 release. Please redownload it again and set the value "swapControllerBlockAndRecruitButtons" to true.

Let me know if this is working for you (and you should not need to ise stream's controller configuration anymore)

It switched the buttons, but it still switched the direction they go through the pause menu pages.

Arf sorry about that, I wasn't able to test it properly. But that might be because you are still using steam's controller configuration, no?

No, that's not it.

I just tried it again to be sure. I was using the default button configuration. And I made sure the mod option was set to "true".

If I was using my custom configuration, it would have reversed my button reversal. But when I tried it, blocking was on LB. The pause menu is still affected.

I will try to find a solution and get that fixed for the new version. I'm not even sure if I was able to reproduce the problem back then. So @XZeroName if you are still around, your help will be appreciated for testing purpose. 😁
