On which type of gallery your problem occurred ? (G2, G3, Piwigo ?)
Piwigo(but probably all supported)
What version of regalandroid are you using? On what Android versions?

Can you provide your gallery url so that a developer can reproduce the
issue ? do we need to login ? in which album the problem occurred ?
Sorry it is a local non-internet facing gallery.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. add gallery url with longer tld then five letters in settings. eg.
gallery.mylocaldomain.localnet
2. click ok.
3. An error is displayed about invalid url.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To be able to connect to the gallery.
Please provide any additional information below.
.local tld seems usable but if you use that on your local lan, you might
experience issues with upnp services.
