Application crashes when uploading images #60

On which type of gallery your problem occurred ? (G2, G3, Piwigo ?)
G3 

What version of regalandroid are you using? On what Android versions?
1.1 Android 2.3.3 HTC Desire HD

Can you provide your gallery url so that a developer can reproduce the
issue ? do we need to login ? in which album the problem occurred ?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Try to upload a picture within the Regalandroid application
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When you select a image to upload you get an error
Sorry! The application RegalAndroid (Process net.dahanne.android.regalandroid) 
has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Please provide any additional information below.
If you use the phone gallery and try to upload from there it works fine.

hello,
I could not reproduce your issue with the sample g3 gallery g3.dahanne.net 
g2android/g2android 
From there, I logged in, got inside the G2AndroidSecretAlbum, and I uploaded 
succesfully a picture, using Menu->Add a photo in this album.
You can send me your gallery url with an account if you can reproduce this

Hi Anthony,
I've tried on a couple of gallery's and I get the same error. It all started 
when I upgraded my phone to 2.3.3 Not sure If HTC have changed anything. I have 
read there was a few issues with the picasa app.

I can confirm it happens on a piwigo installation with an HTC when uploading 
photos existing on the phone.
I'll send you a link to the gallery w username and psw if you like. I might try 
installing Gallery2 as I really want to have it running soon though!

Error on phone, java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity 
ComponentInfo{net.dahanne.android.regalandroid/net.dahanne.android.regalandroid.
activity.UploadPhoto}:java.langNullPointerException

Line 65 on net.dahanne.android.regalandroid.utils.AndroidUriUtils

as a stop-gap measure for other users:
I have the same issue with regalandroid on my phone (mytouch 4g slide).

As a workaround, I've found that I can upload photos by going into the gallery 
on my phone, and then selecting share, then more, than uploading them with 
regalandroid that way.

(In my case, taking a photo from within regalandroid also works.)
