Piwigo - Force Close when accessing as user #85

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
On which type of gallery your problem occurred ? (G2, G3, Piwigo ?)
Piwigo 2.3.1

What version of regalandroid are you using? On what Android versions?
1.1.2 (from Market)
Android 2.3.6

Can you provide your gallery url so that a developer can reproduce the
issue ? do we need to login ? in which album the problem occurred ?

http://gallery.laughingwolf.co.uk
To reproduce the issue, you will need a login to the Gallery (Guest access is
working without issue)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Ensure correct URL/Username/Password in settings
2. Enter Gallery
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expected the Gallery to open as it does without logging in. I get a Force
Close when it gets to "Fetching Gallery Albums"

Force Close Reads:

"The application ReGalAndroid (net.dahanne.android.regalandroid) has stopped
unexpectedly. Please try again."

Please provide any additional information below.

I have cleared the cache of the application, cleared the data, uninstalled and
re-installed. Problem persists.

Thanks

Not to add a "Me too" comment, but I'm using ReGalAndroid 1.1.2 with Piwigo
2.3.2 (12/20/11 release). Using CyanogenMod 7 (stock android 2.3.7).

Entering information works and using g2.dahanne.net works. Attempting to
connect to my piwigo install causes a force close. Tried piwigo.dahanne.net
but it looks like that site has been removed.

Thank you for even making this app though!

I have an update. I can actually upload using the share feature, but I cannot
log into the app.

Here's what I can do:

Configure the app for your server:
1. Open App and tap Menu - Settings
2. Change the following settings:
   a. Gallery type - Piwigo
   b. Gallery URL - the address of your gallery
   c. Username and password - make sure this user has upload permissions.
3. Back out of the app
4. Open your android photo gallery app of choice
5. Browse to a photo you want to upload and tap share
6. Select Upload photo(s) with RegalAndroid

This works better than the Piwigo app, which doesn't seem to keep the HD
version of the photo.

Thank you so much for making this app compatible with Piwigo!

I tried RegalAndroid and had this same issue. Once I entered my gallery
information with username and password, the application force closes any time I
try to open it.

Installed ReGalAndroid from Google Play.

Android 4.0.4 (LG Lucid)
Piwigo 2.4.6

Also affected by this.

Piwigo 2.5.2. URL is https://piwigo.example.com/, authenticated.
Android 4.2.2, Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 RC2

The app closes unexpectedly when logging in to the gallery. Sharing works
though, and can read the albums information.
