Previous mean value: 520 Updated mean value: 640 Range is still 300-1000

800* + 80* + 500 + ~640 = 2020 is just shy of Assassination's current 1500* + 200* + 150* + 300 = 2150 and comparable to a full vault. Unclear whether or not this is reasonable. If you get a high-roll item that you want to use and make use of the vault card, this is easily the most valuable mission reward.

"Unclear whether or not this is reasonable."

I'm not sure either. This was never supposed to be an equipment-focused mission. At the same time, getting the prisoner instead of an agent shouldn't be immensely disappointing, but the guaranteed Vault Card is mainly what accomplishes that.

I know I said "tweak this to your liking", but I feel this is too dramatic a change that compromises the flavour a bit too much - you're keeping corpIntel because it's thematic, but that's the reason most of the other low tier items were on the list, too. You're rescuing a James Bond lookalike who has a vault card (as a treat for the player) and a random piece of spy tech. I feel it's fine for the other items to be weaker or somewhat RNG-dependent, so that getting a high-tier item is a nice surprise - but if consistency is a concern, scrapping high value items is preferable to this rework, IMO.

I agree with cutting Medgel and Charge Pack from the list, though. Thinking back on the Discord discussion, player "disappointment" is only an issue for the players who've had a peek under the hood, which is not really something we care about :P

As discussed, instead cut off the high-end and the vendor trash items. Range 300-600 + the 700cr-valued prototype chip, skewed slightly towards the 300/400-cost items. Mean = 420
