[TalkBack] Duplicate speech during text replacement, e.g. "replaced X with X" #330

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Precondition:talkback on

2.Go to Memo or Note app
Write "가(GA)".
When input "ㄱ(G)", talkback say "ㄱ(G)". This is correct.
And when input "ㅏ(A) ", talkback should say "가(GA)".
But talkback(ver.3.5.0) say "가(GA) replaced ㄱ(G)".

3.This way talkback say is not appropriate for Korean.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It shoud say "가(GA)" instead of "가(GA) replaced ㄱ(G)".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 4.1.2 , talkback 3.5.0

Please provide any additional information below.

This issue was already submitted before.

One of comment say "Should be fixed in 3.4.0_b1."
And the status of the issue is changed as "fixed".

But We still reproduce this issue on TalkBack Version 3.5.0
Could you please check it again?

==More==
Korean are formed from combinations of 14 consonants and 10 vowels.
To make a character, '가(GA)', we have to use both a consonants,'ㄱ(G)' and a
voewl 'ㅏ(A)'. So we push 'ㄱ(G)' and then 'ㅏ(A)' on IME.

Talk Back used to have voice feedback like 'ㄱ(G)' and then '가(GA)' on
version 3.2.1
However, version 3.3.2 have the voice feedback in different way like '가(GA)'
replaced '가(GA)'. In this case, it is hard to understand inserted words.
