When you bring up the global context menu in talkback there are shortcuts to
pause feedback at the top left and a shortcut to talkback settings at the top
right my request is to have text to speech settings added to the global context
menu as a shortcut to take you directly to text to speech settings so you don't
have to exit the activities you are doing to access them for example if i am
reading a web page in french currently i would have to exit the web browser, go
to settings, go to accessibility or language and input go to text to speech
settings switch to the french tts i have installed then go back to the browser
to continue reading with the french tts this would be easier if a text to
speech shortcut was added to the global context screen preferably the bottom
middle taking the above ecample down to the following in the web page i am
reading in french do gesture to bring up global context menu go to shortcut for
text to speech settings switch to french tts go back to reading french web page
with chosen tts this would make switching tts much easier cutting the current
steps .

It would be much better if synth switcher could be built in talkback, so we
could preconfigure it by what tts we want to use for surtain language, and than
just make the gesture and change the synth very quickly.

I like the idea of adding a TTS Settings shortcut to the Global Context Menu. I
also like Mario's suggestion of adding a language switcher. Another option is
to give users the ability to add a specific TTS to the GCM (e.g., Google TTS),
so that users can touch the item and go directly into the settings for that TTS.

We're all trying to propose ways of switching languages on the fly.
