Screen flashes even if nothing was executed #30

When the file picker is shown, then pressing esc to abort choosing a file, the screen flashes. Probably related to output screen saving. This shouldn't happen if the user aborted, so check for that and avoid.

Screen was being restored after every operation, instead of after operations that needed restoring. Fixed and closed.
