FWIW, Picky offered to rename the site from "Nexus Mods" to something more generic like "Modding Tools" if that bugs anyone.
Sounds like a great idea
/site
has visibility issues. No new modder will go there to look for a mod manager for their game unless someone linked them there.
The main disadvantage of having MO2 on the SSE Nexus is visibility for other games, but moving it to the site section makes even more invisible as it looses the visibility from the SSE page (SSE is one of the top games on Nexus).
Vortex doesn't have this problem since it is actively advertised by the site itself on any game page.
Other programs such as Wrye Bash have a dedicated mod page on each nexus game section. We don't do it simply because it's too much work to maintain them all.
The real solution would be for Nexus to offer a way to cross post Mod pages on different game sections. So that you only have to maintain one page which is then shown on multiple game sections.
This solves the problem of visibility and maintenance time. I do believe that mod managers and tools should show up on the Nexus game pages because that is where the average user will be looking for them.
MO currently lives at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194 despite supporting multiple games (and continually adding more games).
It really should live at https://www.nexusmods.com/site. Picky or one of the Nexus mods should be able to help us in moving it or whatever.

Any other arguments for or against the move?
