The problem:

Briefly describe the issue you are experiencing. Tell us what you were trying to do and what happened instead. Remember, this is not a place to ask questions. For that, go to our discord channel

The Query Info option does not allow selection of the new "Universal Tools" category on Nexus, the only options presented are for games.

To Reproduce:

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Download a mod from the Universal Tools category, example: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/82
  2. Place downloaded archive into MO2 downloads folder.
  3. Right click on downloaded archive in Downloads tab within MO2 and select Query Info.
  4. Select ID of mod.
  5. See that only options available are for games.

Environment:

Details:

If necessary, describe the problem you have been experiencing with more details and pictures.

Link to Mod Organizer logs:

Right click on the log window at the bottom of MO2, set log level to debug, restart Mo2 and reproduce the problem. To access the log files you can press the Open folder icon over the modlist and select "Open MO2 Logs folder".

USVFS:

Create a GIST which is a paste of your latest USVFS log, and link them here. Do NOT paste your full USVFS logs here, as it will make this issue very long and hard to read! If you are reporting a bug, always include the USVFS logs!

MO Interface:

Create a GIST which is a paste of your mo_interface logs, and link them here. Do NOT paste your full mo_interface logs here, as it will make this issue very long and hard to read! If you are reporting a bug, always include the mo_interface logs!

MO2 plugins cannot be installed through MO2 so there is no reason to put them in MO2 download folder.

Given the user, I'm guessing this is a WJ related thing and they'd like to use MO2 to automatically generate the download meta files.

It might make sense to add support for this if we move MO2 to that section of the Nexus (see #1521) as we'd probably need to make the majority of the changes anyways in order for MO2 to endorse itself. Otherwise... I'm not really seeing this happening. It's pretty unlikely that anything from the "site" section will be supported by MO2.
