custom instance folder #1540

Now instance folder location is "C:\Users\tommy\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\Oblivion", and cannot be modified, If I forgot backup them, after I re-install windows, all game mods need be installed again. Please add function to modify instance folder location. Thanks.

You cannot change the location of the instance folder itself but you can change the location of most subfolders in the instance folder (downloads, profiles, mods, etc.) in the settings.

For a new re-install MO2, the most important file is "C:\Users\tommy\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\Fallout 4\ ModOrganizer.ini ", How can I change its location? Thanks.
