If MO2 works fine after clicking the button you can ignore that warning, otherwise you can delete the plugins/basic_games
folder from your MO2 installation to remove the plugin causing the warning.
Hi I have a similar problem here except mine says the following. This comes up 3 times then MO2 opens and everything works as per normal. Would doing what was suggested above help in this case? Thanks
@Astronamy Your problem is different, you have an incorrect installation of Deorder's plugin. You need to extract the folder from the zip inside the plugins/
folder, not the files. You should end-up with something like
plugins/
deorder_plugins/
__init__.py
...
Morning, I hadn't downloaded deorder plugins before so not sure what that was, downloaded it this morning and extracted the folder into f/gametools/modorganizer2.4.2/ plugins and I still get that pop up. I should note MO2 has been working fine for months, was only when I created a new instance for Enderal did this start occurring.

@Astronamy MO2 does not install that plugin so you installed it manually (or maybe through an automated tool such as Wabbajack). You need to remove the old files from the plugin if you want the error to go away, re-installing the plugin will not fix anything.
Hello ! and Happy New Year !
I launched the latest version of mo 2 because after the update I got error messages. I got five error messages. The errors still occurred after the antivirus was turned off. Of course, for safety's sake, I set mo 2 to the exceptions. The main lines of error messages are: DDSPrewiew.py; Line 1, FNISPatches.py; 1st row, FNISTool.py; Row 1, FNISReset.py; Line 1, Form43Checker.py; 1st row So the first row of py plugins (all five) incomprehensible. How could this be solved?
In the meantime, I found the source of the problem and fixed it.Having MO2 installed in a folder with non-ASCII characters will cause this. Easy to fix: If you're using a language that includes accented vowels, rewrite the names of the folders or files. For example: ő=o , á=a , ü=u and more
I need help here pls
When I updated and installed MO2 2.4.2 and opened it, the same problem occurred on both my computer and laptop. I'm not sure what exactly is causing it. I tried replacing the files with the decompressed version and disabling windows defender, but it still happens; after testing, the same thing happened with 2.4.0 and 2.4.1. 2.3.x and earlier versions do not have the same problem and still work fine. However, I would very much like to use 2.4.x, where the separator collapsing feature is very useful.![MO](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/56789140/137635422-6a92f2fd-0393-40f3-b011-f42017bf789f.PNG)
