Failed to initialize plugin: DDS preview py

The problem:

"Failed to initialize plugin E:/Modding/Mod Organizer 2/plugins/DDsPreview.py: UnicondeDecodeError: 'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xe4 in position 0: invalid continuation byte"

it only happened today. sometimes it doesn't pop and then sometimes it gives this error. Mod organizer still works and I can play skyrim but I don't know if I should be worried about this one.

Environment:

latest version of mod organizer 2 2.4.4

Details:

I have not experience this before. it may be related to a windows update recently. tried turning off windows defender and the error still persist.

Please validate that this is still an issue on the 2.5.0 builds available on Discord.

There have been a number of changes and nobody has reported this.
