Vanilla FO4--Crashes When Launched Via MO2 #1849

Okay, weird issue:

Fallout 4 crashes during gameplay, but only when launched via MO2 regardless of whether or not mods are installed.

These crashes seem to be characterized by a couple stutters, then a CTD. There are a couple points where it's happened multiple times (namely in the kitchen, running to the Vault, after exiting the cryopod in the Vault, and when entering new rooms in the Vault all on a new save).

I was getting a "Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x7FFD42447AE3 flexRelease_x64.dll+0027AE3" error every five minutes or so. A little googling shows this to be a bug with the bullet debris on Nvidia cards (I have a 3080), so I disabled it to no avail.

Naturally, I then tried disabling all my mods while leaving bullet debris disabled. I started a new save just to be safe--still crashed.

I then discovered that if I launched the game via Steam with bullet debris disabled the game would run without issue. If I turn bullet debris back on, it would start crashing again (all of this on a new save).

So, to be clear, launching via MO2 without mods, without bullet debris results in a CTD while doing the same through Steam had no problems at all.

I also tried installing a bullet debris fix--still resulted in a crash.

I should probably also note I don't run any anti-virus outside of the real-time protection Windows tries to force on me.

The following log is from a crash on a save that, at one point, had mods enabled, but is now vanilla and launched via MO2--the crash occurred when running to the Vault. crash-2023-07-23-21-11-48.log
