1G1R Not Working as expected + Some Special Categories not sorting correctly. #10

Latest No-Intro Sets, and latest No-Intro DATs drom datomatic are not functioning as I would expect in 1G1R mode. Some examples:

NES - Star Wars: Keeps both USA and Japan roms. Rampart: Keeps both USA and Japan roms.

I thought the issue may have been that some of these contain publisher information in the file name, but Star Wars does not. There are a few more examples I can pull if you need them.

GBA - A 'Compilations' folder is created but not all compilation games are sorted to the folder. Some random examples: 2 Games in 1 - Dr. Mario + Puzzle League (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) 2 Games in One! - Paperboy + Rampage (USA) 3 Game Pack! - Mouse Trap + Simon + Operation (USA) 3 Games in One - Darts + Roll-a-Ball + Shuffle Bowl (USA)

Also same issue as NES above where duplicates are being kept: 3 Games in One - Darts + Roll-a-Ball + Shuffle Bowl (Europe) 3 Games in One - Darts + Roll-a-Ball + Shuffle Bowl (USA)

The Europe version should not exist here. I'm using default settings, is there something I'm doing wrong? I'm really struggling with an appropriate 1G1R process, and I think your utility has the best chance.

I’ll look into these in more detail after the weekend, but for now: The USA and Japan versions of Star Wars and Rampart are actually two different games. The No-Intro DATs (should) include a tag called cloneof that indicates when two roms are the same game, because there are rare situations where two completely different games for the same system happen to have the same name.

A few other examples I can think of are what we know as Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 (they’re actually 2 and 3 in Japan; the real first one is Japan only) and The Black Bass on NES (this is actually The Black Bass 2; only the second one left Japan, so it’s localized simply as The Black Bass).
