4 years ago @ephemera69 thank you so much for your feedback, a key goal for me is to do everything I can to make the material and the community equally accessible by all globally. We are a new program started by engineers in VMware unlike most things that get started by executives, so while we are growing, we dont have much budget or dedicated resources yet and unfortunately the automated youtube transcriptions are usually very bad, and sometimes misinterpret words as profanities or inappropriate language so I am cautious to enable subtitles without a way to improve their quality or at minimum ensure they are screened for inapropriate language. I am eager to provide this capability and hope we can do more to support this as the community grows and we get more resources, or perhaps if we can find better automated transcription technology. If you have more suggestions about how we can best accomplish this, I am eager to find ways to support your request.

It was a great course to understand Tanzu Portfolio. The combination of short videos and questions are well-organized and definitely help deeper understandings.
I found a typo. "Ship great softer faster" must be “Ship great software faster” That was on the Tanzu Portfolio Knowledge Assessment 3rd Quiz.
For Non-English speakers like me, if we can enable subtitles on the videos within Openedx U/I it could be more comfortable to take courses.
