Nice overview and was useful. Maybe you can provide more info on the future of TKG standalone deployments. Is TKG standalone deployment going to be supported on vSphere 7? Maybe some use cases for each flavor of TKG as there are many TKG versions.

Thanks Vineeth

One more point. I think the certificate is not getting generated for this course COU-TI4267 even if you complete all requirements.

Thanks Vineeth

@vineethac Thanks so much for your feedback. As a general rule, the integrated TKG service in vSphere 7 should be used rather than TKG multicloud (formerly standalone). There may be certain circumstances where one-off approval may be possible for TKG multicloud installation on v7, but this should not be positioned and is not something that would be approved in most cases.

TKG multicloud IaaS roadmap includes planned support for additional public cloud environments including Azure and GCP, and VMware employees can find more roadmap details on confluence.

TKGI is supported on v7. If you see need for TKG multicloud on v7 or other currently unsupported use cases, please let product management know. The best way is by associating the feedback through salesforce or looper where it is associated with specific opportunities, as those will always get more attention than more opinionated feedback.

I do intend to introduce more information on various use cases in future modules, but to your point it may be useful to include some higher level information on use cases here so I will keep that in mind for updates. Aside from this course, I do intend to introduce more use-case centric courses on modernapps ninja over time, I prefer use-case centric training, but more product-centric training also can be useful and is frankly easier to get put together which is why some of the more product-centric content is the first available but my preference over time will be to have much more focus on practical use-case centric content.

Last thing, thanks for highlighting the issue with the certificate, another user pointed it out so I already have a ticket open, will let you know once I figure out what the issue is.

Thanks so much for your feedback!

Thanks for the response @afewellvmware . I have one more follow up query. Would like to know whether CNS for VVOLs are supported in vSphere 6.7 U3? I mean, is it supported by VMware to use VVOL datastore as Cloud Native Storage (CNS) for TKG deployments running on vSphere 6.7 U3? Please let me know. Thanks.
