Add additional Indian Languages #631

What version of ModernFlyouts are you using:

Need more information @Dibyajyoti176255 . ModernFlyouts already supports multiple languages including Hindi.

You should Add the LANGUAGES such as:

  1. Tamil
  2. Telugu
  3. Kannada
  4. Malayalam
  5. Odia
  6. Bengali
  7. English (India)
  8. Marathi
  9. Gujarati
  10. Punjabi (Gurumukhi)
  11. Urdu AND SO ON! (ET CETERA!)

Do they all differ enough to justify maintaining all the different languages, remembering that adding languages adds size and maintenance. Plus the work involved in translating everything.

Are there a select few 1 -3 that would mostly cover the majority of people.

Bruh, we don't have enough contributors. The current supported languages have some contributors.

Would you like to contribute?

I can take care of Tamil.

@Cyberdroid1 might help with the Hindi translations.

For other languages, we don't have any translators.

Adding support for all Indian languages is quite work intensive. We can't invest our time in that. There are like 22 official languages.

If you could help us, it would be great!

We can start the work with machine translation, and if need be, they can be refined further with help of contributions.

@Dibyajyoti176255 English (India)? The only reason Windows/other platforms offers these as separate options is that choosing them changes system locale and set things like calender/date format but most likely there's no difference in text. I don't see the point in having it when there's already a British English translation.

Understandable but at least the languages of the most users can be added at first, then expand if people ask for translation for their language. Saying you can't translate into Indian languages because there are lots of them is really an excuse that shouldn't be accepted when there are more people who easily localise into many more European languages.
