[Fortnite, any menu that can be swiped left and right] When I want to swipe to the right, the menu automatically starts turning to the left. #4

Bug description

Preconditions: Open Fortnite on Xcloud

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the battle pass
  2. Battle pass rewards
  3. Start scrolling through the menu to the right.

Actual result: After you stop scrolling to the right, it automatically starts scrolling to the left

Expected result: The menu should scroll to the right and stay where I left off!

I installed Xcloud using the install add-on function via Google Chrome Version 111.0.5563.147 (Official build) (64-bit version)

Hi @CUDO1, we are not able to reproduce the issue. Can you please share the preset you are using and which buttons you are using to scroll?

@ModernKit As I noticed, this is obtained at the moment when you need to minimize the game using a keyboard shortcut Alt+Tab. Then the extension asks you to activate the Mouse again and, after activation, starts moving to the right. I also happen as soon as I enter the game. I can stop this when you press the left arrow several times

Hi @CUDO1, thanks for the additional information.

We were able to reproduce the original report with the following steps:

  1. In Fortnite, go to a horizontal menu, like the Battle Pass menu.
  2. Scroll the menu a few items to the right (either on the same page of items or the next page of items)
  3. Press alt left+tab on keyboard once.

Observed: Menu moves but continues to move to the left immediately after switching window focus away.

We will investigate further and let you know if this is something we can fix in an future version.

As a workaround, you can change your preset to not use alt left, since any gamepad button mapped to alt left might get "stuck" when you use the alt left key.
