.exe says it needs .NET core, asks if I wanna install it, then does nothing. #6

Extracted the files with 7zip but when I tried to run the application it says I need .NET Core. However even when clicking yes when it offers to install it, the application doesn't actually do anything. I personally downloaded and installed .NET 8.0 SDK, but the application doesn't seem to recognize it or that wasn't the right version. Just trying to play CK3 with DLC ;w;
