Please, can you provide this application for linux too

Moehammered commented 3 years ago

Hey there!

I have plans to make a Linux version. Once I have done some testing simulating a controller on Linux then I can begin work on the Linux version.

At the moment I'm busy with a new job so it'll take a while. Please be patient. :)

Hey

Is Linux version is still in your plans? I am very excited about your project.

Hey

Is Linux version is still in your plans? I am very excited about your project.

@L1nx99 Hey mate. Yep it's still in my plans. I've been doing a lot of work on getting version 1.0.0 ready. Part of version 1.0.0 was to clean up the code base to make it easier to start the Linux project.

I won't give an ETA, but once version 1.0.0 is released, I have a few patches and features to work on, then the Linux version takes full priority.

Thanks for being patient. :)

Hey. It's been 2 years since the release of 1.0.0 version. Are you still working on this project?

Moehammered commented 6 months ago

@zamonary1 Hey mate. I'm not actively working on this project at the moment. Life, work, and other priorities have made it so I don't have much spare time at all during my days to work on personal projects. Last commit I've done for this project is https://github.com/Moehammered/switch-remote-play/commit/ad1a84f0ffb388706079b703999d81e637ab6c11 which involves re-implementing the audio system. However, with the re-implementation I'll have to also re-implement how the video and audio are streamed now, since the new audio system isn't compatible with how the project currently streams video and audio. The work involved in that is quite a lot so I wouldn't expect any progress any time soon. I haven't forgotten this project though. Someday I'll get around to it hopefully. :)
