Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. No problem, just an enhancement.
Describe the solution you'd like I'd like to see an option to keep the ping on the scene, rather than having it automatically time out.
Describe alternatives you've considered The drawing tool is an option, but it doesn't have the eye-catching animation options.
A much longer maximum duration than 10 seconds would be an acceptable substitute - five minutes would probably be sufficient.
