[Feature] Allow for multiple pointers #5

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. My players have a hard time RPing because they're not sure if what was said was IC or OOC. Also when I have NPCs talk to each other, it is unclear who is speaking.

Describe the solution you'd like If possible, it would be great if multiple pointers could be tied to different hotkeys.

Describe alternatives you've considered I tried to change the behavior of Ping to act as a speech bubble, but it only has a set duration. Currently, I have X for pointer (speech bubble), Z for ping (with 'Ping only when pointer is active?' unchecked), and TAB for Move player on ping.

Additional context I'm guessing it would be difficult because the menu would have to change, so no rush. My current set up is certainly viable, I'm just losing out on a pointer arrow.

While this would be theoretically possible, it would require some significant changes, since the module was not designed with this in mind. I, at least currently, do not plan to implement this. (This may change at some point in the future, but no promises!)

If someone else wants to implement this, feel free to do so and i'll happily integrate it into the module.

saw the 'wont fix' but throwing in my +1 for this feature, or a way to macro swap to a different pointer. practically I am doing the same as OP, using chat bubbles to add immersion for tokens - but I also like the arrow and pinger, so I sacrifice one or the other. This works great for me as is, I just use a work around. great module!

Another +1 here! I'm looking to replicate the MapTool pointer functionality. Honestly even having a duplicate module would work, but I couldn't figure out how to do that.

Been having to use a fork of Cursor Popups in addition, but still don't have the full functionality. Giving this a +1, one of my most desired features I could want added to foundry.

This would be amazing, specially now with the Cursor Popups a bit broken
