Support Foundry v11 alongside v10 #50

Update to support Foundry VTT 11, due to API change in PixiJS 7. Fixes #49

I would love to use it again too. MAde the switch to v11 and this is one of the last modules that aren't working for me and I am not adept enough to rework it.

Unfortunately this project seems to be abandoned. The fix exists since June but no one merged it yet. As a workaround you can head over to https://github.com/Thorarin/fvtt-pointer/tree/foundry-v11 who created this fix. Then download module.json and replace the one in your Foundry data Folder on your computer, e.g. FoundryVTT\Data\modules\pointer Then download the container.js file located in js/pixie (or use this Link) and replace the one in the module folder also located in js/pixie in your foundry data folder.

Make sure to lock the module within foundry so it doesn't get overwritten.

I'm still not able to run it, using V11 Build 305. I can't save pointers modifications. The module work for every world where i already created my pointers, but creation of new pointers does not work anymore. I tried Thorarin's fix and others forks but nothing fix that.

I wish i could use it again, the module is very cool, but i'm not able to fix it on my own.

i can share a little video showing my issue if needed

It does seem to run, although broken with editing the pointer

That sounds bad but I can't help here unfortunately. Recently someone published another module simply called 'pointers' I haven't tested it yet. Maybe you can give it a shot.

Yes it does run but we can't change things anymore.

It looks use only icon from Font Awesome.

Because one never should lose hope, maybe if we ping the owner ( @Moerill ) we get this merged 🙏
