gearbox digging ground

when gearbox enabled in articulated tractor you turn left and righ and after 10-30 seconds it will start dig ground. Similar or same like plowing holes when you plow field it happens on solid concrete or roads. Is there any way to turn it off ? without gearbox enabled this mess does not happen.

Hi,

it´s a feature Mogli added in build 41. I don´t have an issue with roads, but with concrete, yes. However there is a neat workaround. You can "repave" the concrete with this mod: Ground Modification. Set it to "original" and get the original surface (dirt, gravel, concrete, etc.) in perfect condition back.

I love this mod and This feature really nice but needs some tweaking in ground destruction. For concrete its should not happen this has to be fixed or added option to disable this feature cause now i disable this mod because it makes lots problems with holes on road or concrete. i used ground mofication previously had issues when you can't regrow grass or other stuff its fixed now or not ? Look at the second settings page. There is an option to turn it off.

I limited the digging to fields only. And yes, there is a setting on the 2nd settings page.

Hello, is there any possibility to not have the digging in grass fields, becaus it gets realy anoying if all of your grasfields have plowed parts in them and also is not that realistic, because IRL you most likely have grass tires if you make a lot of grass worke and grasstires are not as agressive as fieldtires wich means they wount dig in as easy as fieldtires do.

It works on fields only and CropDestruction does more or less the same. But using plough instead of cultivator only makes sense if you use GroundResponse.

CropDestruction => wheels change fruit state on field GroundResponse => wheels sink into ploughed area

Hello, i tried b42 and it still "plows" grassfields.

I only don't like this feature because it destroy grass fields. Is it possible in future or in next update get this feature to turn off completely on all tractors or customise it for fields somehow? Btw i really like this feature on other fields without grass on it, its really realistic.

Hi, I did some testing on a grass field and I don´t have a hard time. I use MR, Seasons, CropDestruction and GroundResponse. I was mowing a 20-30% slope and didn´t have an issue. Even 30 kph down hill and a sharp turn didn´t hurt the soil. The only time I had wheelspin was in moist condition and a stop and go on the 20-30% slope. I think that is to be expected in RL. There are some vids where farmers had a hard time collecting hay in seemingly good conditions. Certain areas of the field seemed "plowed" by the machines and should be resown. Therefore I think that the feature is working well.

What machines do you use? What are the weather conditions (if you use Seasons)? What slope do you work on?

Hi, It is (too) difficult to limit the digging to non-grass fields only. I will add a gearboxMogliGlobals setting to turn this feature on/off per default. Regards, Stefan

Answer to Fracking: articulated tractors do this in seconds, weather sunny, 0-5 slope for now i just testing mods and don't use seasons mod. MR you mean More realistic mod? Is it good? Answer to Mogli12: Will be waiting for update thanks for your work. 😃
