Steering snaps back to center when starting a vehicle and when entering a vehicle that has the engine running. #868

First of all, thanks for a fantastic mod! I struggle to explain just how much it changed my gaming experience for the better when I finally got the right settings that made every vehicle feel more realistic and controllable when playing with a gamepad. Feels like a different game now, truly awesome!

Only thing that still bothers me with the game a bit, is when the wheel loader ( and forwarder and harvester) snaps back to center when jumping back in it, even with free steering enabled. Is this something you've looked at? I'm hoping I've missed something in the settings, but if not, would it be possible to add an option to prevent this behavior? I have no idea how much I'm asking for or if it's even possible to fix, but to me it feels like the final piece of the puzzle that's missing to make my game all perfect.

Bit annoyed with Giants by the fact that I played 17, 19 and 22 without the option to tweak vehicle control in the vanilla settings in the same ways your mod offers. I think it's something that they at least should've added by 19 and 22. Your mod is definitely on my top three list for mods now, along with the wood harvester controls mod which I added today and the Rennebu map. Thank you guys for making FS into a better game!

Hi, Can you please attach your vehicle.xml of the savegame? And do you use an analog controller? That might be the reason. Because in case of analog devices the steering angle is identical to the position of the axis. Maybe I can still smooth it a bit.

Had to rename the file to txt since github didn't support the .xml file.. hope this works for you, but perhaps I'll have problems converting it back again?

Yeah, I'm using an Xbox wireless controller. I've been trying to hold the joystick to the side when entering back into a vehicle, but the vehicle still manages to snap to center before turning back again. Thanks a lot, appreciate the effort!
