editing gsoc application summary line #21

Not a bug, but an enhancement request: it would be very helpful to be able
to edit the one-line summary/subject line of submitted gsoc applications.
(Just org admins, or mentors too, whatever.)

This would let us insert the specific package name when the student fails
to do so. As an "umbrella" organization, we have many packages which a
student can apply to work on, so it would help significantly in
sorting/processing to have the package name up front.

Sorry if this capability already exists, and please inform. I didn't see it.

Thanks for your consideration.

Thanks for the feature request. We can look into this for future iterations of
the
web app.

Note that this specific use case would be handled with tags (or labels, as in
gmail), but editing the title would still be useful.

Responding to that last comment: if such tags/labels (do they exist now? i'm not
seeing them) are visible on the summary page, that'd be fine. just some way to
see
which of our many packages an application is for. despite everything, students
often
fail to put this in their summary.

thanks.
