What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to Application List page at the mentor dashboard.
2. Try to find proposals for your particular project.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected: The ability to perform a full-text search on the student proposals.
Actual: I have to scan through every proposal looking for those that are
relevant to my project (ie, proposals that I can mentor).

It would also be very useful for each application to have a simpler searchable 
ID
number, so that people can send relatively short links like
http://code.google.com/soc/2008/asf/app.html?q=1234 to refer to applications in 
mail
messages.
