Ability to view/review the data that was submitted for an Organisation Application #7

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Submit an mentoring application using
http://code.google.com/soc/org_signup.html
2. Close the web browser
3. No way to view again what was submitted

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It would be useful to view/review what was submitted without having to
keep a local copy. In special, when needing to resubmit an application,
one can simply copy & paste the fields that aren't changed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
N/A

Please provide any additional information below.

We will look at making this change for future instances of the program.

At the very least, make the page render with the text not inside textareas that
are marked as read-only (which
makes it impossible to copy out the values and save them locally, at least in
Firefox/Mozilla :)

Also, a preview/edit/cancel cycle would make me feel a lot more comfortable when
submitting an application. While I recognize that submitting an application
should be
taken seriously, there are just too many variables in terms of text formatting
and
copying/pasting. It would be nice to see the application as it will appear to
anyone
who will review it before committing it. And you should be able to abort the
submission if something goes horribly wrong.
