What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
Install Dashclock & set-up "Text Messages" extension.
2.
Any existing or newly received group or MMS messages will cause the existing
conversations from the involved sender(s) to appear as unread.
3.
Deleting the MMS/Group messages will not clear the issue; the original SMS
threads from that sender will remain unread. The only way to clear the count
from the widget is to delete the original SMS conversation threads from that
sender.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Once an SMS conversation
is read, it should stay read regardless of receiving any group/MMS messages
from that sender.
What version of the product are you using?

Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on?
HTC One on Verizon
Android v4.2.2
Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom
launchers and ROMs are not supported.
