Magic Trackpad Support #296

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Pair trackpad with Mini10v running OSX 10.6.3 (netbook installer 0.8.4 RC1)
2. Trackpad connects, and is useable, but multi-touch features do not.

What netbook are you using this on?
Mini 10v

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Multi-touch user experience as advertise for product. Instead basic point and
click trackpad experience no different from built in trackpad.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Netbook Installer 0.8.4 RC1, OSX 10.6.3

Please provide any additional information below.
Seems like a basic driver is handling the bluetooth pairing. Is there one in
the works that will enable all features of the trackpad? Or am I missing
something in the system pref. config?

Just read the Magic Trackpad requires 10.6.4 - going to install that and see
how this works.

Installed 10.6.4, plus the MagicTrackpadMultiTouchUpd1.0 update, and things are
good to go! Much better than the 10v trackpad.
