Thinking about calling this "LOCATIONS" as in "Locations and hours" found in retail sites and general search results on the web. Basically pointing to where the collections are to be found, rather than having an interest in the institutions per se. Need to do user testing on the terms used. Institution, Repository, Archive, Location. Confusion between "organization" and "institution;" repository or archive could be too jargon-y; location could be confused with place.
Repository information might be able to be included on the "Browse By Repositories" List Page, very brief, with a link to the more complete information on the BMRC Main site on the Current Members Page.
*Select Institutions where collections are housed
Update: Browse List will show all repositories as clickable names. Click one to be brought to the SERP which shows results, i.e. collections held by that repository.
Select ONE
OR MORErepositories to limit search. Can only select one repository at a time. This is because an archival collection can only be held by one repository.More than one can be selected at a time.Should be able to view which are selected/active, and to delete a selection (using an 'x' for example). Usually these pop up at the top of the search results list in the main content area and can be added and removed easily. In MarkLogic implementation, this is accomplished by creating "collections" (separate directory) for finding aids from each institutions in addition to the full portal "collection" which includes all.
