Why doesn't the front page of website advertise RTSP support? #32

I've used MonaTiny before as a very well designed and the simplest RTSP server I've found yet.

Yet on www.monaserver.ovh, RTSP isn't listed as a supported protocol? Is that because only MonaServer2 supports RTSP and it's still in Beta?

We are strongly considering buying a license but want to make sure that RTSP support is actually production ready.. what do we need to worry about?

How sorry for the misunderstanding, RTSP has been introduced into the previous MonaServer repository as POC but it is absolutely not ready for production use and we removed it in this current version. Contact us at contact@monaserver.ovh if you want to discuss it but it would need months of development to build a good RTSP implementation.

I've used RTSP with MonaTiny though.. wasn't it mostly working? Only issue I had with it was the previously reported huge frame issue, otherwise it seemed to be great.

Really RTSP has never been introduced in MonaServer2/MonaTiny, but we could remedied for that with few work days. The MonaServer1 is not enough for your need? Now we are full busy on an aside project for Haivision, and MonaServer2 and its foundation are largely powered by Haivision, if really RTSP is an priority requirement on MonaServe2/MonaTiny for you and your compagny we can discuss in private with Haivision and you to get required time to add this support.
