As the summary says, my suggestion could be to add a kitchen location. After reaching a certain amount of affection, Monika will tell the player she has been working on something big recently, and reveals that she has coded in a kitchen into the space room. From there, Monika could let the player know that she could make meals alongside the player. Before making a meal, Monika lists several ingredients, tools, and equipment needed to make the meal. The player could also ask for substitutes if they do not have all the ingredients, or have food allergies. For the start of this kitchen, there could be a few simple recipes*, while more updates could bring more recipes. While cooking, there could be (optional) demonstrations of the ingredients and how they are prepared. When time is required to cook something (like an oven), Monika could set a timer for her own cooking, as well as the players cooking.
