[Suggestion] - She teaches the player and more unseen options #1392

Chess: I think that Monika could help the player play chess, i am not very good at chess and think that after a loss streak she could teach or help you and try and give the player a win or make it so the sides are even as she is a computer which i believe is at a high level. I even put a bot at level 10 against her and there was no win or loss just a draw.

I have got to a point where there is no unseen questions or topics. Possibly you could add longer topics and more multi-answer stuff, she asks a lot of questions but answers are assumed.

and remember Just MONIKA

The idea of Monika the chess couch have popped up already (sry, linking the exact ticket from the phone is a bit of a hassle). I personally imagine this as a chess match, where she explains the most common chess tactics, openings (such as the four knights game), comments on the moves player makes and tells what he could do better (thankfully, Stockfish seems to be able to do all of the above). This would be really cool, but it would require a metric ton of new dialogue. From what I remember seeing, devs want to make it into more of a "Chess puzzlebook: Monila edition".

A chess tutorial would be a lot more practical, to include basic rules up to intermediate strategies, if someone had a lot of time to dedicate. Chess can be so varied across games that having a program try to teach you what you did or didn't do right during a game is virtually impossible.

She does get progressively weaker as an opponent as you lose, to a point. I lost seven in a row before winning my first match. It would probably be helpful, especially to those newer to chess, if she was able to further dial back her skill. Though I'm not really sure how her AI works
